Spent a week there a couple of months ago with my lovely wife and have been meaning to write a review We absolutely loved it, the weather was perfect, the rooms immaculate, views amazing. I almost fainted every morning at breakfast with joy. Staff very friendly always with a smile. Spa was lush, we loved just bobbing about. Fabulous. Downside. The evening food was just too posh for us. We were hoping for bowls of pasta with local produce and lashings of quaffable , affordable wine but it’s al Michelin starred stuff which is the same the world over. Location was a bit isolated but hardly the hotels fault. Overall we would like to live at the hotel. Oh and the level of painting / decorating was off the scale.
