The property underwent comprehensive restoration in 2015, preserving original frescoes and architectural details while introducing modern event infrastructure.
Today it operates as a 5-star venue hosting intimate ceremonies and receptions within its historic walls.
We recently stayed at the Divina Luxury Hotel for four nights, and overall, it was a pretty good experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and they changed the towels daily. They also provided slippers, and we had a safe in the room, which was a nice touch. The staff was really friendly and helpful, especially when it came to getting around the city. They gave us maps and tips for exploring the historical areas, which were just a 10-15 minute walk away. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay. The only downside was the complimentary breakfast. It was pretty basic, not very fresh, and they didn't always refill the eggs or other protein items in a timely manner. But aside from that, everything else was lovely, and we’d definitely consider staying here again.
