Spent a wonderful couple nights here as a base for exploring the Azay-le-Rideau area. Émilie is extremely welcoming and accommodating (including of my meager French), and the dinner by Bastien and his team was simply magnificent. Definitely a destination worth including.

Set in a quiet agricultural farming scenario (the local apples and pears are an inviting specialty), this is a family run excellent (and starred) restaurant with rooms. The “comme une cabane” 3 new rooms are well designed and decorated, plenty of space and style. €210/night in summer well spent Breakfast is tasty, varied, high high quality, home made and served at the table with grace and professionalism (thank you for sparing us the horror of those “buffet”). We will be back!

I had the best meal of the entire trip here. Totally worth it driving out here. This is a piece of paradise - calm, quite, peaceful. The food was great, every bite is an explosion of flavor. Loved everything we had. Staff was very nice and helped explain everything in English. Dairy allergy was addressed with no issues. after the meal we stuck around for a bit just enjoying the nature and the beauty of the place. Next time I would even consider staying onsite. Reservation is required and I was very pleased when they responded to my email and helped me secure one (dinner wasn't available but we got lunch)
