We thought this hotel was pretty good (5 night stay January 3926). Room was always cleaned extremely thoroughly. Breakfast was exceptional. Price was good value. Room amenities were fine for the price. Room size fine. Location was ok (not very far from the popular parts of town but not right amongst it either). Front desk staff were mostly friendly. Room was quite noisy (thin walls, very audible plumbing).

I am giving this rating due to the unprofessional and disrespectful treatment we received from the front desk staff. On the morning of July 17th, our Booking.com reservation was cancelled without notice on the day of arrival. When we called to understand the situation, the female receptionist was incredibly rude, repeatedly hung up on us, and at one point, put us on hold where before we could clearly hear the staff laughing at us. Despite our efforts to communicate (even offering to speak Italian), the lack of empathy was shocking. We eventually went to the hotel in person since we had already paid, only to find out there was a room available after all. No apology was ever given for the stress caused. It is a shame because, apart from this, the room was actually very pleasant and the breakfast staff were lovely and very friendly. However, the initial experience and the mockery from the reception staff were unacceptable. I would not stay here again.

This hotel has seen the 4th stars in inauguration day, but since then, it’s total decay in construction and services. We changed 2 rooms. Both of them had mold, lack of decent cleaning, ac that had all the dust in it and noise. The location is the best thing about it, but also the neighbors are very loud. Don’t recommend unless you really have to, but they take advantage of this issue and they overcharge, as was our case.
