Hiring a wedding planner in London SE27 9DQ, UK
What a local planner can help with
Ask a planner about work in the area, languages, supplier relationships, and the tasks they can handle. Compare that scope with what your venue coordinator includes.
What to budget
Ask whether the fee is fixed, a percentage, or based on services. Confirm travel, taxes, extra events, supplier commissions, and payment dates.
Questions to ask before booking
How many weddings have you planned in this specific area? Do you handle legal paperwork and permits? What's your vendor network like? Will you be present on the wedding day? How do you handle communication across time zones? What's your contingency plan for weather or vendor no-shows?
When to book
Contact planners early if you want help finding the venue. If your venue is booked, explain which decisions you have made and where you need support.
