Services
Hiring a wedding photographer in London, UK
Local vs. flying your photographer in
A local photographer may know the venue and area; a photographer traveling with you may offer a style you already know. Ask both about relevant experience, permits, travel costs, and backup equipment.
What to budget
Ask for a quote based on coverage hours, the number of photographers, travel, and what you will receive. Confirm whether albums, extra events, and taxes cost more.
Questions to ask before booking
How many destination weddings have you shot in this area? Are travel and accommodation included? What's your turnaround time for the final gallery? Do you have backup equipment? Can you recommend other local vendors? Have you worked at this venue before?
When to book
Contact photographers once you have a date and venue. Ask about availability and leave time to review full galleries and the contract.
