First of all I would like to say a lot of places in Bali kind of force you into writing them a review…for example we will give you a dessert for free if you review us. Sometimes reading reviews we became sceptical, a lot of places had very high ratings but didn’t always live up to it. Vije is NOT like this, it totally deserves five stars, everything is absolute perfection. From the minute you enter it is a tranquil haven with the warmest welcome. We had originally booked to stay five nights but ended up extending an extra few days as we didn’t want to leave! We booked the one bedroom pool villa then moved to a smaller garden view room as the pool villa was already booked. Both rooms were absolutely beautiful - from the decor, to the bath, to the products placed in the bathrooms. Me and my partner both work in the yachting industry so have high standards when it comes to housekeeping. I could not fault anything. The beds were made perfectly everyday, new towels and bed linen changed when requested. The bed, pillows and linen were so comfortable. The resort itself is stunning, you hardly see any other guests and we had the main pool to ourselves! We ate a few times and the food is beautiful - so fresh and tasty. We also had a massage in the spa, it’s a little more expensive than the massages in ubud town but well worth it. It was such a lovely, relaxing experience and the spa therapists were lovely and amazing at their jobs. It was an hour of pure bliss and relaxation. Lastly, a huge special thank you to all the staff who made our stay so special. Each and every one of them, from the housekeeping, front desk and waiting staff were so kind, helpful and genuine. Not one staff member would pass you without saying a hello or how are you - they couldn’t do enough for us and it is truly them that make this resort so special. We hope to to be able to return some day as its genuinely the nicest place we have ever stayed. Do not hesitate to book - you will not regret it. Thank you all so much again for giving us a holiday to remember forever ❤️
