My wife and I recently stayed at Purana Boutique Resort for a few nights, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Bali. We booked the one-bedroom villa with a private pool, and it was incredibly tranquil and private, the perfect blend of luxury and serenity. After spending time exploring, it felt amazing to return to our own peaceful oasis. The on-site restaurant was absolutely delicious. We found ourselves eating most of our meals there because the food was so consistently good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Another major highlight was the complimentary shuttle to and from Ubud center. It allowed us to fully experience Ubud while staying somewhere peaceful and slightly removed from the busy center, which ended up being the perfect balance. We also appreciated that there were additional experiences available right through the resort, like cooking classes, spa treatments, and curated local tours. We didn’t have time to try everything, but it was great knowing those options were easily accessible if we wanted to add more to our stay. What truly made this place special, though, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Each time we returned to the resort, we were greeted warmly with smiles and kindness. What stood out most was how the team wore many hats. The same friendly faces who helped us at the front desk would also serve our meals or drive us into town. It made the experience feel personal and authentic, and we loved building real connections with them throughout our stay. Yannik was an incredible guide during our half-day tour. He took us to see the rice paddies, a beautiful waterfall, led us through a meaningful water purification journey, brought us to stunning temples, and arranged a visit to a coffee plantation. His insight, knowledge, and generous hospitality made the entire experience unforgettable and deeply special. Noviana picked us up from the airport late at night and brought us safely to the resort, and later drove us to Sanur for our next accommodation. He was professional, kind, and made the transitions during our trip completely seamless. Agust and Tude were consistently outstanding. They helped us at the front desk, brought our meals, answered all of our questions, and handled everything with genuine warmth and a smile. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Choosing Purana Boutique Resort was hands down the best decision we could have made for our stay in Ubud. We only wish we had spent more time there.

I had an exceptional stay at Purana Boutique Resort & Spa in Ubud as part of the 4-day yoga retreat package. Everything exceeded my expectations — the staff were incredibly warm and attentive, the food was outstanding, and the villa was spacious, beautiful, and surrounded by serene greenery. The private pool was clean and perfectly sized for a relaxing experience. The overall ambience of the resort was calm, elegant, and deeply rejuvenating. A special thank you to Komang and his team for taking such wonderful care of every detail, from transportation and food service to ensuring the retreat itinerary was fulfilling and enjoyable throughout my stay. The complimentary shuttle to Ubud Market was also a great added convenience. 10/10 — I would highly recommend this resort and would absolutely return. Thank you for a truly memorable stay.

Purana was a really comfortable, safe and clean stay for a solo traveller. The staff was always so welcoming and helpful; it made me feel like I was coming home everyday. It is not as hectic as central Ubud, so it's great to chill in. If you do need a ride to central Ubud, they offer shuttles at regular timings but it's much easier to book your own grab bike/car. Do factor in extra time to get to places though because traffic is insane in Bali. I would 100% recommend this resort!
