Puri Agung Kerambitan in Bali 82161, open May–August.
Puri Agung Kerambitan is a restored 19th-century Balinese palace estate that served as a royal residence before its transformation into a destination wedding venue.
The property preserves its original architectural heritage while offering modern event infrastructure across manicured gardens and traditional pavilions.
Built during the colonial period, the estate has been carefully maintained to honor its historical significance while accommodating contemporary celebrations.
Decent experience and better maintained than the nearby Puri Anyar Royal Palace, but still this site could use a bunch of work. The palace is clearly a lovely site architecturally speaking and with lovely plants and bushes that meld seamlessly into the buildings and shrines to create a peaceful ambiance. Saw only a couple other tourists on the entire palace grounds while we were there. No entrance fee and bathroom was clean with liquid soap by the sink. Unfortunately there are no plaques or signs explaining the history or significance of site or what you are looking at. Inconsistent site maintenance was apparent, with a bunch of plastic garbage and concrete/stone rubble in various areas. Poorly placed domestic items like a stationary exercise bike (!?) and TV in open pavilions detracted from the regal environment. Worth a visit if nearby, doubtful that it’s worth a specific trip.
