Spent the weekend here for a friend’s wedding. We stayed in a jungle bungalow. It was a bit of a walk, but we got used to it after a day. Stay in the beach bungalows for a more central location. The staff was excellent. Very kind. Always remembered our preferences. The grounds are beautiful. Seating by the pool is limited, but ample chairs at the beach with umbrellas.

Our room could have been cleaned better. We had building construction dust on the floor and it was still there the next day after room service. The location is incredible. Even better than the hotel zone in Cancun. The place has lots of character and romantic atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, but the buffet is limited and the best stuff is ordered a la carte. You can only order one thing off half the menu or you need to pay for it. When the hotel says breakfast is included when I make the booking, then I don't appreciate seeing that there are a bunch of breakfast items I have to pay for. If you need to feed teenagers, look elsewhere.

Another amazing stay at Petit Lafitte! We have been coming here almost every year for over thirteen years. I only gave the rooms four out of five stars because this isn’t luxury and one shouldn’t expect it. But the rooms are clean, equipped and comfortable, and we rest and relax so well here. We prefer the shoulder season as it is very reasonably priced, as the rate includes a lovely breakfast and delightful dinner. The outdoor palapa dining room is beautiful and very romantic! We always leave planning our next stay. Thanks to the awesome staff at Petit Lafitte. I should mention that Claudia gives an awesome massage, I’ve known her for thirteen years too! The price is currently 900 pesos.
