UPDATE in response to the owner’s reply: 1. I guess because they did not like my negative review, they decided to share my private info of my name (which is not public on Google nor shared with businesses when I leave Google reviews). Of course they knew who it was based on context of this review, but it’s the fact they decided to share it is concerning and shows how they handle negative feedback - sharing customer’s private information on the internet. 2. I am a heavy sleeper, your soundproofing was cheap. 3. For $770+ for two nights, my stay should have been perfect this first time. ******** I stayed here over Thanksgiving holiday in their pet friendly ground level room #14 and I did not enjoy my stay. The walls of the room are paper thin and I could hear every footstep and every toilet flush from the people above me. I could hear the 6am FaceTime Thanksgiving day convo from the people in the room beside me. They were FaceTiming their family and wishing them Happy Thanksgiving. Definitely something I want to hear at 6am. From being woken up every day at 6am and the elephants above me until 12am, I barely got any sleep both nights I stayed. I could have camped outside in a tent and saved myself $770+ bucks. The private patio also has a running fountain and I could hear it all night too. Wish I could have turned it off so I didn’t have to hear water splashing either. The shower head sucks and needs to be tossed out. Weak pressure and you’re in the shower longer because the water pressure is so weak in rinsing all the soap off. Location is good and luckily the room was very clean and I did not find any bed bugs. The breakfast was basic for $770+ for two nights. I’ve stayed at older style places like this and the walls were never this thin and much nicer meals. I definitely won’t be staying here again and it was not worth the price.
