Very nice place. Great service and very friendly people. The hotel room was 10meter (hight tide) 30meter (low tide) from the ocean bay. As a resident you have your quiet spot around the little pool and the separate lounge. Although many people coming here for lunch or dinner (with 2-3 month reservations) we were not effected at all. There is a 3-5 min shuttle from the front desk to the parking up the hill. Never had to wait.longer than 3min for that or jumped on it right away. We were there for 5nights various menu and ofcause a big selection of 1st class wines.

A truly unique and immersive stay from start to finish. You park your car and are driven down to the hotel, which immediately sets the tone for a special experience. We were welcomed with a drink on arrival and shown around the property, instantly taking in the spectacular setting perched directly over the ocean. The daily canapés served on the terrace from 5–6 pm are a lovely ritual. Our room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and pillows, and massive panoramic views. The Robben Island–themed décor was beautifully considered and felt especially meaningful for a holiday in South Africa. A character-filled, unforgettable place — ideal for those who value atmosphere, views, and a strong sense of place.

We are a little late in leaving our review and would like to apologize for that. This restaurant truly impressed all four of us — with its beautiful location, excellent food, and above all the exceptionally attentive, thoughtful, and friendly service. We would especially like to mention Viktor, who was leading the team with great calm and empathy. One of my friends was not feeling well that lunch, and he reacted with remarkable consideration and professionalism. Alongside him was Michael, who was equally attentive and very supportive, helping my friend find some quiet and comfort. When staff members go far beyond their usual duties to care for guests in such a genuine and compassionate way, it cannot be praised highly enough. We have already been here twice, and we will certainly return. Many thanks to the entire team!!! K SP
