It was amazing! 💒 (Even better than I imagined! 💑) October 6th, 2025 (Monday) I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but it was our 40th wedding anniversary. We had only decided on this Okinawa trip (including Janglia) back in June, but a week before departure, I suddenly thought, "I want to wear a wedding dress!" I casually searched for a venue, and luckily they had availability that day, so I booked it three days beforehand. I only asked my husband after everything was settled (on a low budget), "I want to wear a wedding dress, so will you come with me?" before I even clicked the booking button. 😅 It was such a lighthearted idea, but... I was so surprised! They were kind and polite, and the explanations, guidance, and dress selection were rather brief, but the dress, tuxedo, hair and makeup artist, staff, photographer, and the beautiful chapel were all even more wonderful than I imagined, and we had the best time! 😊 It was an even more moving and wonderful anniversary than our wedding! To the staff member who answered my phone first, and to all the staff who helped me on-site, thank you so much for your warm and courteous service✨ I am truly grateful✨ My husband was also very happy and said, "I'm so glad we did it!"😆 I'm so glad we asked Ile de Ré ⛪️ to do it. I will cherish this day and work hard again!!

We held our wedding ceremony and reception in January 2025. The reason we chose this venue was because it was the only place in Okinawa where we could have a private, relaxing ceremony. While hotels often expose guests to their presence, this venue has a restaurant that can be rented exclusively at certain times, which is why we chose it. The ocean view was cloudy due to rain on the day, but the large windows made it bright, and the rain wasn't even visible in photos. As expected from the quote, the price was lower than usual, and they were very flexible. There were many items that didn't require a corkage fee, and even though we rented our own kariyushi (sashes), there was no corkage fee. (You can also rent them at the venue.) They also assembled the decorations for the first bar and reception hall using the items we provided, and I was very pleased that they were able to create something close to what I envisioned. They carefully confirmed everything during meetings, and everything was exactly as planned on the day. The only difference was that, although we had asked the store staff to make the wedding announcements, they instead called in a professional on the day at no extra charge and said they wanted to be there to witness the ceremony up close to us, which made us very happy. When a friend delivered a stuffed animal with a message from her as a surprise before the ceremony, she later commented on how courteously the staff handled it. It was a wonderful, memorable wedding. Thank you so much. Finally, we would like to thank Mr. Higa for his courteous assistance from the introduction stage, and for being there to watch over us on the day itself. Thanks to Mr. Higa, we had a wedding filled with happiness. We are truly grateful.
