Two and a half thousand hectares of the Ortolo valley in southern Corsica, held by one family, with eight kilometres of coastline and almost nothing built on it.
Guests stay in around twenty restored shepherds’ houses, bergeries, scattered across the estate, each with its own garden and pool, sleeping anything from two people to sixteen.
There is a private sand beach with a restaurant on it, a golf course laid into the maquis, a farm that supplies the kitchens, and no neighbours.
A wedding can happen on the beach, in a garden or in one of the event spaces, which run to about 490 square metres and take up to 200 people.

Asked along the way.
How many guests can Domaine de Murtoli host?+
The estate’s event spaces run to about 490 square metres and take up to 200 people, and a section of the private beach can be hired for a reception. Sleeping capacity depends on how many bergeries you take, which is quoted case by case.
What is a bergerie, and where do guests actually sleep?+
A bergerie is a restored shepherd’s house, of which the estate has around twenty. Each has a private garden and pool and sleeps between two and sixteen people. They are spread across the valley, so guests need cars to move between them.
Can we get married on the beach?+
Yes. The estate has its own sand beach with a restaurant on it, and a section can be taken for a ceremony or reception. It is genuinely private, reached through the estate rather than from a public road, which is rare in Corsica.
What does a wedding at Murtoli cost?+
The estate quotes privately through its events office and publishes nothing. It prices at the top of the Corsican market and bergerie rates run into thousands of euros a night in high season. Everything here is an estimate.
How do guests reach the estate?+
Figari (FSC) is about 25 to 30 km and 40 minutes by car, with seasonal flights from Paris, Nice, Marseille and some European cities. Ajaccio is roughly an hour and a half. Ferries run to Porto-Vecchio and Propriano for guests bringing cars.
