We stayed here in mid-June as a couple during our Italy road trip, and it’s hard to put into words how special this place truly is. Everything feels surreal, almost unreal in its beauty — absolute peace, nature, warmth, and genuine hospitality. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners’ son personally, were shown around the entire estate, and felt at home from the very first moment. At sunset, we enjoyed a private dinner just for the two of us — an unforgettable experience. When it became a bit too chilly outside despite the heaters, we were effortlessly invited to move into a beautifully set private fireplace room. The food was outstanding, breakfast an absolute highlight. The staff are not just friendly but incredibly warm and attentive — 15/10. The rooms are elegant, immaculate, unique, and designed with so much love and attention to detail. During the day, the pool felt like our own private oasis. And then there’s Uva, the dog — quite possibly the happiest dog in the world. This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts, as this is where I proposed to my wife. For us, Castello di Vicarello is not a hotel, but pure paradise. Unreservedly and wholeheartedly recommended.
